UK Container Maintenance Ltd based in Winsford, Cheshire are currently recruiting for a Mobile Container Repairer to work from our Winsford Depot as well as required to travel throughout the UK in our Company Van as a Team of Two to customer sites to repair steel containers.

This is full time permanent position Monday to Friday. Generally the hours are 7.00am to 5.00pm but again depending on location of the customer site, you may be asked to start earlier so please be aware that hours are flexible although no night work. Also depending on location, you may be required to spend nights out with expenses and overnight hotel covered.

Duties included in the repairing and refurbishment of waste containers with the use of hand held tools, grinders, fitting components and paint spraying and generally working outside.

Previous experience is not required as full training will be given. 

You must be presentable and have a good understanding of English.

A full UK driving licence is required.

TRAINEE Container Repairer / Labourer

You will start by being trained and working in each department to get the understanding of the container repair process which includes using the automated bin wash, repairing (using hand held tools, grinders, fitting components), painting (in our spray paint booths) and shot blasting.

Experience not necessary as full training will be given. Must be able to work in a team and be prepared to work outside or in an open aired factory.

We offer 3 breaks per day, starting on national minimum wage plus weekly bonuses and incentives for hitting targets. Individuals are encouraged to grow within the company.

Starting at £9.50 to £11.00 per hour plus weekly bonuses and incentives for hitting targets.

Monday to Friday 7AM to 5PM and offer of Saturday overtime if required.

UK Container Maintenance Limited in Winsford, Cheshire are looking for competent MIG Welder / Fabricators with at least 2 years of experience to join our team in the repair, fabricating and manufacturing of steel waste containers and components.

COMPETENT MIG WELDING SKILLS WITH AT LEAST TWO YEARS EXPERIENCE

WELD TEST WILL BE REQUIRED CONSISTING OF: HORIZONTAL VERTICAL FILLET WELD, VERTICAL UP FILLET WELD, OVERHEAD FILLET WELD AND A LAP JOINT. IN MILD STEEL.

GOOD FABRCATION SKILLS WITH GENERAL KNOWLEDGE IN THE USE OF PRESS BRAKE GUILOTINE AND BAND SAW.

ADHERE TO HEALTH AND SAFETY PROCEDURES.

BE ADAPTABLE AND ABLE TO THINK ON YOUR FEET.

FEEL CONFIDENT WORKING WITHIN A TEAM.

£11.50 to £12.00 per hour depending on experience and time served as a Welder / Fabricator.

TRAINEE MIG Welder with a basic knowledge of welding

KNOWLEDGE OF PLASMA CUTTER AN ADVANTAGE

A GOOD STEPPING STONE TO START WELDING WITH IN HOUSE TRAINING TO FURTHER YOUR SKILLS AND CAREER AT UKCM.
