UKCM recognises the importance of environmental protection and is committed to operating its business responsibly and in compliance with all environmental regulations, legislation and approved codes of practice relating to the Waste Container Repair & Refurbishment Industry.
Here at UKCM our aim is always to firstly repair & refurbish your damaged containers. But in some cases we take in a container that is just beyond repair due to damage in an integral area of the containers structure.
In these cases our recycling policy really kicks in, and nothing goes to Waste.

Removal of All Usable Parts Panels
Any container deemed by UKCM to be unsafe for refurbishment will be stripped of any unusable components (handles, castor plates & body panels).

Lid Recycling
All damaged lids are cleaned, granulated and then sent off for recycling.

Castor Recycling
Even damaged castors are sent for recycling.
